Project: Difference

Pioneering a New Path to Permanent Change

Did you know that in 68% of U.S. cities, addiction is the largest cause of homelessness? At Project: Difference, we're dedicated to tackling this issue head-on. We understand that simply providing housing is not enough - we need to address the root causes of homelessness.

Breaking the Cycle

"Housing First" initiatives may provide immediate shelter, but without addressing the underlying addiction issues, individuals are often destined to return to homelessness. That's where Project: Difference makes a difference.

Empowering Homeless Women

Our nonprofit program focuses on low-cost housing for homeless women who are ready to turn their lives around. We offer a two-tier program designed to provide a comprehensive support system.

Tier 1: Affordable Houseless Properties for Women

Our Tier 1 program offers homeless women an opportunity for stability, safety, and recovery. With an 18-24 month rental commitment, tenants pay a total rent of just $1 per month for a private bedroom. But that's not all - we go beyond housing. Through grants and donations, we provide recovery assistance, nutritious meals, educational opportunities, and various programs to personalize their experience and maximize their potential during their stay.

Tier 2: Building a Better Future

Upon successful recovery and job placement, our tenants graduate to our Tier 2 program. In this program, they receive their very own tiny home and continue to receive support from a dedicated social worker. We believe in providing ongoing assistance to ensure their long-term success in society.
